Hi everyone! My name is Mackenzie Albright and I am so ecstatic about going on the race next year!
I am a senior in high school in Kansas City Missouri! I love to hike, travel, cook, hang out with friends and family, and just have fun! From doing schoolwork or a school club to driving around out with my friends to working as a nanny I always seem to be busy!
Some ways that I love to connect to the Lord are through Youth Group and with Children’s Ministries. Through my youth group, I have experienced God in new ways and truly started to be proactive in my faith. At Children’s Ministries, I am constantly surrounded by people who show me a new and refreshing perspective on God’s love through kids.
Last year when my mom showed me a promotion video for the World Race and I felt drawn to it. That month I prayed on it and asked my parents to do the same and after lots of conversations, we decided it was a great opportunity for me! I am so excited to grow in my relationship with the Lord and do it in a way that helps others. I cannot wait to be surrounded by faithful people who I can learn from. I know this experience will force me to lean on God, and though it will be hard, I know it is something I want to do!
